Hi, I’m Vartika Agarwal — founder of The Jaipur Tradition.

I’m an architect by training, but at heart, I’ve always been someone who loves creating and building meaningful things. Growing up in Jaipur and coming from a family associated with the jewellery business across generations, this world always felt familiar to me.I was constantly surrounded by gemstones, craftsmanship, colours, and stories — and over time, that naturally shaped my love for jewellery. 

I’ve always naturally been drawn towards fashion, styling, accessorising, and aesthetics — and I think that personal love for self-expression is what eventually pulled me towards building a jewellery brand of my own.

When I started The Jaipur Tradition, I wanted to change the way people looked at gemstone jewellery. Most people associated gemstones either with astrology or with heavy traditional jewellery meant only for occasions. But to me, gemstones always felt personal, expressive, and timeless — something that could be worn every single day.

That thought became the foundation of the brand. I wanted to create jewellery that feels like everyday luxury — meaningful pieces that are modern, wearable, colourful, and still deeply rooted in Jaipur’s craftsmanship.

Today, along with building the brand, I’m also navigating motherhood — which has taught me so much about balance, patience, and building a life that feels aligned both personally and professionally.
